Nurse Calendar Privacy Policy

Nurse Calendar is designed for private nurse shift planning and paycheck estimation. Your schedule, pay rules, paycheck audit values, and notes are stored locally on your device. We do not upload this payroll or schedule data to our servers.

1. Who We Are

Nurse Calendar is developed by the Nurse Calendar team. For privacy questions, contact us at support@parentinglab.app.

2. Information the App Processes

• Work profile and pay settings: Role, workplace name, state, hourly rate, shift length, break defaults, overtime rules, differentials, holiday multipliers, and pay period settings that you enter.
• Shift and calendar data: Shift dates, start and end times, break minutes, tags, optional notes, and the rate snapshot used for pay estimation.
• Paycheck audit data: Estimated gross pay, actual gross pay values you enter, comparison results, history, and CSV exports created by the app.
• Widget and Apple Watch companion data: A limited schedule and pay summary may be stored in the app group container and sent to your paired Apple Watch so widgets and the watch app can show current information.
• Purchase status: Subscription, lifetime purchase, entitlement, restore, and trial status may be processed by Apple App Store and RevenueCat to unlock paid features.
• Diagnostics: If you choose to share diagnostics with developers in iOS settings, Apple may provide crash or performance information.

3. How We Use Information

• To show your nurse shift calendar, pay period estimates, paycheck audit results, history, widgets, and Apple Watch summaries.
• To remember your local settings, pay rules, trial state, free-use limits, and purchase access.
• To process purchases and restore purchases through Apple App Store and RevenueCat.
• To troubleshoot issues and improve app stability.

4. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not use advertising SDKs.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not upload your shift calendar, pay rules, paycheck audit entries, notes, or CSV exports to our servers.
• Nurse Calendar is not intended for storing patient health information or protected health information.

5. Third-Party Services

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple App Store. Subscription entitlement management may be handled by RevenueCat. These services receive only the information needed to process purchases, validate receipts, restore purchases, and manage entitlements. They do not receive your shift calendar, payroll notes, or paycheck audit data from Nurse Calendar.

6. Data Storage and Retention

Work profiles, shifts, pay estimates, audit values, trial state, widget snapshots, and related app data are stored on your device or in the app group container used by the app, widgets, and Apple Watch companion. Apple system features, such as iCloud backup, device backup, or diagnostics sharing, may handle this data according to your device settings. Deleting the app removes locally stored app data from your device, subject to normal iOS backup and paired-device behavior. CSV exports that you share or save outside the app are controlled by you.

7. Your Choices

• You can edit or remove shifts, pay settings, and audit values in the app where supported.
• You can delete local app data by deleting the app from your device.
• You can manage widgets, Apple Watch pairing, backups, and diagnostics in Apple system settings.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
• You can contact support@parentinglab.app with privacy requests.

8. Children

Nurse Calendar is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, third-party services, or legal requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
