Nurse Calendar Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Nurse Calendar, a mobile app for nurse shift planning, pay period estimates, paycheck audit comparisons, history, CSV export, widgets, and Apple Watch companion views.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Nurse Calendar, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. App Purpose

Nurse Calendar provides informational scheduling and paycheck estimation tools based on the data you enter. The app is not payroll software, tax advice, legal advice, financial advice, employment advice, clinical staffing advice, or a replacement for your employer's official timekeeping or payroll systems.

3. Your Responsibilities

• Enter accurate shift, rate, overtime, break, holiday, pay period, and paycheck information.
• Verify all estimates against your employer's official payroll records, union rules, employment contract, state law, and tax or benefits deductions.
• Use the app only for lawful personal recordkeeping and planning.
• Do not enter patient health information, protected health information, or confidential employer information into notes or exported files.
• Review CSV exports before sharing them, because exported files may contain shift, workplace, rate, and pay information that you entered.

4. Free Use, Trials, and Paid Features

The app may include free features, limited previews, in-app trial access, subscriptions, lifetime purchase options, or other paid features. Feature availability, trial availability, prices, and limits may vary by region, app version, or platform rules.

5. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Billing

• Subscriptions and in-app purchases are purchased through your Apple ID and billed by Apple.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple policies.
• Lifetime purchases, when offered, unlock the described paid features as a one-time purchase for the supported app version and platform, subject to these Terms.

6. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by the Nurse Calendar Privacy Policy, which explains how the app handles schedule, pay settings, paycheck audit values, widget and Apple Watch companion data, purchase status, diagnostics, and exports.

7. Intellectual Property

Nurse Calendar, including its software, interface, pay estimation logic, visuals, and content, is owned by the developer or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app except where allowed by law.

8. Accuracy and Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available." Pay estimates and audit comparisons may be incorrect because of incomplete entries, employer-specific rules, payroll rounding, time zones, local law, overtime exceptions, holiday definitions, breaks, shift premiums, deductions, taxes, benefits, or other factors. We do not guarantee that any estimate, comparison, export, notification, widget, or watch display is accurate, complete, or available at all times.

9. Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms when the app, platform rules, third-party services, or legal requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost income, payroll disputes, missed wages, employment decisions, tax outcomes, or other losses arising from your use of the app.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access to features if required by law, platform rules, security needs, or misuse of the app.
